come to Ampleforth!

 

‘Strictly FUN Dancing’

 

    Friday’s 4th, 11th, 18th, & 25th April

and  2nd,  9th, 16th & 23rd May 2008

 

             WE WILL TEACH A RANGE OF EASY TO LEARN DANCES TO ONE OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST AND DISTINCTIVE TRADITIONAL MUSICS

 

Each workshop will be self contained so come to one or come to them all. Absolute beginners will be particularly welcome and encouraged..

 

We shall be playing some of the finest traditional and contemporary Cajun and Zydeco music from Britain, Europe and of course the home of this unique and wonderful music - Louisiana. You are very welcome to just come to listen and watch the dancing if you wish.

 

 Social dancing is the best exercise in the world and Cajun is the best dancing in the world – Cajun dancers do it with smiles on their faces! 

 

BRING A PARTNER……. OR LET US FIND ONE FOR YOU !!

 

Doors   will be open at 7.45pm (Beginners please try to come then)

Dancing is from 8.00 pm until 10.00pm (leaving time for a drink in the White Swan afterwards !)

The cost of each session will be £3 per person (Non dancers £1) and  will include FREE soft drink refreshments.
